Snow!
We've had a foot of snow since Monday afternoon, and all of Colorado is being hit with this latest storm. We are doing a happy dance as this helps our severe drought situation so much. Between Sam from the VRBO and David and his new snowblower, the road has been kept cleared, and we've been able to get out. Grateful. Truly, it is so beautiful up here that I really don't want to go anywhere except out and about in the neighborhood.

My unofficial tally is we are currently at 86 inches - over 7 feet! - for the season, and we did not hit this mark until February 24 last year when we had that three day, two feet of snow event.
Unfortunately, as I've mentioned before, our November snow continues to wreak havoc in the form of lots and lots of avalanches. As I write this, Red Mountain Pass is closed due to avalanche concerns. It was closed last week for three days due an avalanche five miles south of Ouray. The snow on the road was 10-12 feet.
I'm just getting over a sinus infection, but once I get some energy back, I'll get to snowshoe!
