So beautiful in Ouray

 We got four and a half inches of snow during the night, for a total this season of 31.5 inches.  We're behind last year by 17 inches but ahead of the year before that by a whole four inches.  Mentally, after last year, it feels like we've had very little snow.  David was out all morning working on MFL, clearing Alex and Dustin's driveway while he was out.  Such a nice gesture. Alex and I went on a short snowshoe trip around the mines last weekend.  It's wonderful up there. Son Greg has left for a bigger town with faster internet speed, Colorado Springs.  His boss was so desperate he offered to put up Starlink at our house.  It was a good move for all of us. While I was moving Greg with the Subaru, we had snow, and Mike got the TT stuck at Brett and Zoey's before David had a chance to clear the road.  That led him to do a serious search for a four-wheel driveough  vehicle, something we had been discussing but done nothing about.  We are now the owner of a Jeep so we

Quiet Days in Ouray

 Our snowfall total is 27 inches, on par with 2021-22 winter but way below last year's 45 inches.  We'll take it. David and Faith had a lovely holiday party Friday night, and no one was deterred by our new four-inch snowfall.  Our son Greg has moved to Colorado Springs.  I've finally gotten up snowshoeing and plan to do more when we get back from our quick trip to Denver tomorrow.  There's more than enough snow for that, plus the snowboarding and skiing our new neighbors Alex and Dustin are doing.
